The non-invasive methods of prenatal diagnostics do not require any intervention in the uterus and are completely risk-free for the mother and the unborn child.
Doppler ultrasound: check blood flow and supply
Doppler sonography measures the blood flow velocity in various vessels - in the umbilical cord, in the baby's vessels and in the uterine vessels. This examination provides information about the supply to your child and can provide early indications of placental insufficiency or growth retardation.
The Doppler examination is used in particular for high-risk pregnancies, suspected malnutrition or multiple pregnancies.
